Our achievements

The Department of Social Services, as one of the nation building departments of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, is providing services to the destitute, poor, neglected, backward, disadvantaged, disadvantaged and even disabled people of the country. By turning these targeted communities into human resources, the Department of Social Services is playing an important role in the overall development of the country by alleviating poverty and providing social security. To this end, the Upazila Social Service Office under the Department of Social Services, Naikhyangchhari, Bandarban Hill District has provided 02,173 elderly beneficiaries, 1,605 widows and abusive women beneficiaries in the last three years, 21 special elderly beneficiaries of backward people, 14 special elderly beneficiaries of backward people. Education stipend, 638 indigent disabled beneficiaries, 22 students with disabilities, education stipends have been opened in the name of a total of 4,463 beneficiaries and all beneficiaries are being paid allowances directly through EFT in G2P system. The identification of 60 persons with disabilities has been completed and the identification process is underway. The digital database of Elderly, Widow and Husband Abused Women Allowance, Special Elderly Beneficiaries of Backward Classes, Education Stipends for Backward Classes Students, Education Stipends for Disabled Students and Indigent Disabled Beneficiaries has already been completed.
